If you have not stayed at Marriott Mission Valley, do not miss your chance. This property is perfectly located and makes getting anywhere in San Diego easy, whether you are here for work, leisure, or a bit of both. More importantly, it is the people who make this hotel stand out and keep me coming back. A big thank you to the team that consistently takes such great care of me during my stays. Silvia and Erica in the M Club deserve special recognition. The hospitality, attention to detail, and that omelette bar are truly outstanding and always start the day on the right note. The front desk team somehow always makes the magic happen (Yesenia), and housekeeping does an exceptional job maintaining the rooms and common areas. Everything is handled with professionalism and genuine care, which is noticed and appreciated. And finally, Dennis, you run an excellent hotel with a fantastic team. It shows in every interaction. This is hospitality done right. Highly recommended.

Every employee at this hotel was amazing! From check in to housekeeping to bar/restaurant staff, all were super friendly and helpful. Great to have full service bar and restaurant onsite as well as convenience shop for snacks and drinks. Close to transit station. Cheap, easy ride to marina and Gas Lamp district or only 2 stops the other way to Snapdragon Stadium. $2.50 per ride.

I stayed at the San Diego Marriott Mission Valley for 3 nights for a work conference. I wanted to take the time to acknowledge the wonderful front desk staff: Kris, Ashley, Jelly, and esp Taylor. Every time I interacted with them I was greeted with a genuine smile, humor, and conversation; not fake customer service type stuff. They also were knowledgeable and helpful. I was impressed by how professional this group of youngsters was. They really made my stay memorable. Thank you!

Incredible experience. The only thing better than the actual hotel grounds which is a 10 is the staff. I can actually say for the first time ever I didn't want to come home. Thats big for me since I'm a home body. Silvia and jc will make you feel like family. Can't wait to come back

It has really fun and relaxing things to enjoy inside the San Diego Marriott Mission Valley Hotel, where I visited during a trip. The place feels lively and refreshing in a way that teenagers would enjoy a lot, and I noticed so many teenagers around the lobby, elevators, and pool area. The whole environment has this calm but playful energy that makes it easy for teenagers to feel comfortable and have fun. The open areas inside the hotel look clean and modern, and the lighting in the hallways and lobby makes it perfect for taking pictures without anything costing extra. It was a new hotel to me, but I didn’t realize how much there was to enjoy there until I walked around inside and outside. The pool area especially had a lot of teenagers laughing and hanging out, which made the place feel even more inviting. I really appreciated how easy it was to enjoy the hotel without feeling rushed. I never doubted that the experience was going to turn out the way I hoped it would. I only visited the San Diego Marriott Mission Valley one time in my life before making this review. It was one of the most enjoyable and refreshing hotel environments I’ve been to in a long time, and I would highly recommend that even teenagers go there because it gives them a place to relax, take pictures, socialize, and feel creative.

I don't stay at high end hotels but I appreciate the management replying to these reviews. It tells me customer service is priority for them. They could easily have an attitude about things but they chose not to be that way. Thanks, Marriott. With that said, it's nice to be in a high end hotel after spending the night at the airport--especially at Burbank (see my review on that). It's good to have a nice sufficient shower, too. I ended up here hanging out with friends. First thing we noticed was the extra fee to park our car here. Thirty-five for a night is a lot. There's a "community mucrowave?" Not sure what the reasoning is around that but I haven't used one in years, even though I don't do hotels. Google Maps said there's a hot tub but we have yet to see it, nor is it listed on their website. We would have done it if they had one. I couldn't figure out the shower st first but eventually forcing it worked. Maybe having some instructions? Or more traditional knobs? I also appreciate the option on the TV to log into my Google account. What's tricky is that it didn't log me out after a couple of hours for dinner. So make don't forget. Due to my head injury, I'll need to make sure I log out tonight because I will forget. Upgrading the USB charger to C would be nice. But good thing I brought my A adaptors. But I love the sunset reflection from where I'm at (see my pictures). In fact, I got double sunset reflections. It's not cool that wifi is usually free--but not here. You need to be in the M Club to get online? Oh well. I don't really need it anyway but would be nice. Location is good for the places we wanted to visit. It's kind of central so that's nice, too.
